Tout habitant de Strasbourg vous dira qu'elle est la plus belle de toutes les cathédrales de la Chrétienté. Cela ne fait aucun doute. Il n'y a pas l'ombre d'un soupçon d'interrogation. Notre Dame de Strasbourg est la plus incroyable et la plus magique des cathédrales. Pour moi, qui souscris évidemment à ce postulat, elle est aussi un guide et un repère, aussi bien géographique que sentimental. Je sais que dès que j'aperçois sa silhouette si particulière, je ne suis jamais loin de mes racines. Lors de chaque passage dans ma ville natale, je ne manque jamais de lui rendre une petite visite. Cela s'appelle de l'attachement... peut-être, mais c'est avant tout un ancrage dans l'histoire de ma ville et de ma région.

Notre Dame de Strasbourg is the most incredible and the most magical of cathedrals. For me, who obviously subscribe to this premise, she is also a guide and a landmark, both geographically and sentimentally. I know that as soon as I see her so particular silhouette, I am never far from my roots. During each visit to my hometown, I never fail to pay her a little visit. It's called attachment ... maybe, but it is above all an anchor in the history of my city and my region.
